ADVANCED Bronze Casting Course – Wax creation, Investment & Pour
3 day programme, 1 day per week - designed for individuals who have attended courses previously & require a refresher, or have existing knowledge that they wish to build on. Please note that attendance is not compulsory on the third day of each programme.

What the courses cover
During the sessions, each stage of the process will be covered in-depth & unedited, for a full & comprehensive understanding of this ancient practice for contemporary application.

You will learn
- how to use the lost wax process (‘grog’ & ‘ludo’ method) to continue making artworks in bronze
- how to save money & avoid future foundry costs by undertaking the process yourself
- how to exploit each of the stages creatively & experiment with the possibilities of the process
- how to finish your piece using appropriate chemical application (patination)
