Patination
Patination is commonly used to describe the process of colouring bronze. Bronze naturally reacts to its environment & changes colour according to the environment’s chemical content.
This colouring process can be achieved in our workshop using many different chemicals & achieving many different finishes. From hot & cold applications to more experimental processes we are continually researching & developing our colour palette. These colours are then sealed using wax, lacquer or both, to protect your artwork from the elements which could change the finish.
It would be best for you to see our sample chart firsthand, so when you visit us, you will be able to choose your finish accordingly.
If you would like us to restore an artwork, please visit our restoration page for further information.
If you would like us to provide you with a quote for some work, please fill in this form & email it to us.
