Workshop Plastic Casting

Plastic Casting

Since the sixties, artists have been using plastics for all types of work. The plastics industry is continually developing new products that enable many aesthetic finishes.

Generally plastics arrive to us in liquid form that can then be brushed, poured or injected into a mould. They can mimic other materials or take on their own identity. In our workshop we use polyester & polyurethane resins & liquid plastics.

If you would like a bronze resin made for example, or are interested in casting something in a clear resin, please do not hesitate to contact us.

If you would like us to provide you with a quote for some work, please fill in this form & email it to us.

If you would like to have a look at the profile of our teaching & technical staff here as well as Meltdowns’, we are putting together a profile archive for you. If you would like to attend one of our courses relevant to this process, please do have a look at our current programme. Finally, have a read, if you are interested in using the workshop yourself.
